Question

I am led to believe that f.lux uses gamma table manipulation to affect external monitors. As of DisplayLink version 1.7, they have support for f.lux on Mac. So, what is preventing MonitorControl from doing the same?

Hi, it could. I recommend using BetterDisplay as I implemented this feature there. Select this option for the DisplayLink attached display:

This feature is not planned in MonitorControl as the feature set is now decided to be final by the team.
