Before opening the issue, have you...?

Describe the issue

After initial install my MacMini M1 associated with an Apple LED Cinema Display, the brightness lowered and now it won't increase to the brightness it was before the install. MonitorControl appears to be working correctly, brightness is set to 100%, but it's still a lower brightness as compared to before the install of MonitorControl.

Monitor is old, might be that I just need to upgrade the monitor, but wanted to check to see if this is a known issue.

Thanks for the support.

Expected behavior

Monitor via MonitorControl would be as bright as before the insttall.

Anything else?

No response
