I have a MacBook Pro M2 Pro 14 inch 2023 and an Apple Studio Display connected via an Apple ThunderBolt 4 Pro cable.
Whenever I reconnect the MacBook Pro to the Apple Study Display (with the MAcBook in sleep mode), when I wake up the MacBook Pro, the Apple Studio Display is very dim, even though the monitor slider (I use an unified monitor slider for both displays) in on max brightness.
After checking the Monitors tab, there's a warning sign for Software(shade) setting.
I also notice that the Studio Display has the identifier 3, although it should be 2, as I only have 2 monitors and the MacBook Pro integrated display is the nr. 1.
After resetting settings for Apple Studio Display, brightness level get to what is expected and Apple Studio Display behaves as expected. Until the next time I unplug the MacBook Pro, and plug it again to the Apple Studio Display.
Please check screenshot for the setting and also to check the warning sign on the Monitors tab

Expected behavior

I expected the ASD to mimic the brightness level on slider (as it happens with the MacBook Pro integrated display)

Anything else?

No response
