Describe the bug

Hello,

I have TWO LG Monitors, both connected via Displayport to my external dock, plus my built-in Macbook Pro Monitor.
I have speakers connected to one of the LG monitors.

I need brightness/contrast changes to apply to all displays (this works correctly), but Volume changes to only apply to one display (the one with the speakers attached). However, it appears the settings for hiding OSD are not working consistently.

However, it appears "Disable macOS volume OSD" only applies if "Volume" is checked for the Monitor.

Actual Behavior:

Interestingly, there is no

Steps to reproduce

  1. If I have "Volume" under "Available" in advanced settings checked for both of the displays, with "Disable macOS volume OSD" reviewed for both displays, volume changes will cause both monitors will pop up the built-in OSD for volume adjustment and show their volume/mute status being changed, with no built-in macOS volume OSD appearing.

  2. If I have "Volume" only checked under the monitor with the speakers connected but with "Disable macOS volume OSD" selected on both, the built-in monitor OSD appears on the correct monitor, while the macOS volume OSD appears on the other monitor (but it does not appear on the built-in monitor)

Expected behavior

The Volume changes only apply to the single monitor I have "Available" checked for, and/or the "Disable macOS volume OSD" applies if checked (even if "Volume" is NOT checked)

Anything else?

No response
