Before opening the issue, have you...?

Describe the issue

MonitorControl works fine with Dell U2720Q and capable of controlling its brightness when monitor is pretty much any colour mode except for DCI-P3.
When I switch to DCI-P3 in monitor OSD menu it changes brightness, it is still possible to controll brightness with monitor itself, but MonitorControl has no effect on it.

Expected behavior

MonitorControl should be able to control brightness of the monitor when it is in DCI-P3 colour mode.

Anything else?

No response

@waydabber commented on GitHub (Feb 2, 2022):

This seems to be a monitor specific issue, it seems like the display is not accepting DDC commands in this mode.
