Feature Request
There could be an option to enable 'brightness overdrive' using gamma (or linear) via keyboard. The function could increase the perceived brightness beyond 100% by adjusting the gamma table especially on the lower spectrum of the color range. The function should be optional and should have a distinct OSD animation (similar to what we use when
Separate scales for combined hardware & software dimmingenabled). The functionality would allow the user to quickly further brighten the image using the keyboard temporarily, while preserving the full dynamic range and intensity distinctions using the gamma method. This would be beneficial when overly dark scenes appear in a movie or when when direct sunlight hits the screen and darker details are not visible.

A similar functionality was implemented in BetterDisplay (Gamma slider), is probably out of scope for MonitorControl.
