Before opening the issue, have you...?
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe
Thanks, first of all, for such amazing App!
Tested on the built-in retina display of a macbook Air 13" M1.
Describe the solution you'd like
If possible, a smoother dimming transition much like the default behavior in macOS (i.e. without MonitorControl).
Describe alternatives you've considered
Alternatively, provide an option to disable MonitorControl on the built-in display, while still enabled for external ones.
Anything else?

Hi, is this regarding version 3.1.1 or 4.0.0? If 3.1.1, can you please try 4.0.0? Thank you!
@waydabber commented on GitHub (Oct 11, 2021):
Hi @jcaraban - I'll close this issue for now. The new v4.0.0 should have smooth control enabled by default. Also, v4.0.0 disengages from controlling built-in displays if no external display is present. Please let me know if you still have a probelm with this version. Thank you!

Hi @waydabber, the smooth dimming works great in version 4.0.0 👍
I wasn't aware so many new features were coming, thanks again!

Great, thanks for the feedback!
