Environment Information (please complete the following information)
@waydabber commented on GitHub (Sep 21, 2021):
This seems to be a display issue. If contrast works then DDC communication in general works between the display and the app. Please try ddcctl and see if the display accepts volume commands using that tool. If not, then there is probably not much to do about it, maybe you can find some setting in the monitor OSD that blocks volume changes somehow.
@waydabber commented on GitHub (Sep 21, 2021):
Please let me know if I can help with this in any way. Until that time I'll close the issue as there is nothing to do on MonitorControl's side at the moment. Thank you!
@Craiting commented on GitHub (Sep 28, 2021):
I have the same monitor and same issue. Brightness controls work but not volume. I tried using ddcctl and again I could control brightness but not the volume.
