Before opening the issue, have you...?

Describe the issue

Volume doesn't work properly on my MSI MAG 271CQR with Mac mini m4Pro.
When I press "volume-" (or set it via panel) the volume gauge decrease, but volume from monitor increases,
and when I press "volume+" (or set it via panel) the volume gauge increase, but volume decreases.
When I press "switch off volume" (or set it via panel) - volume gauge is set to 0, but volume is max=)

Expected behavior

Press V- -> volume decreases.
Press V+ -> volume increases.

Anything else?

No response

@waydabber commented on GitHub (Feb 9, 2026):

This might be a monitor specific issue. You can go to Displays, enable "Show advanced settings" and then use Invert to invert the scale for volume control. You can do the same with BetterDisplay if you choose that app.
